About Us
OUR MISSION
Grace Haven encourages and expects their residents to become self-supporting by instilling into the family or individual the belief that they deserve and can obtain a
home, a job, financial security, education and a prosperous life. This will give them the confidence needed to provide essential life skills.
Since the opening of Grace Haven, over 12,000 individuals and families have passed through the doors of the shelter. They have returned into the community with a
positive image that is needed to lead a fruitful life. Please see our photos and success stories...
Grace Haven meets its financial needs through public support. This support is given by the people of Jackson and surrounding communities, show how much
they care for the homeless and needy in the community, With this support Grace Haven has been a refuge for individuals and families who have sought help
during their time of crisis.
Grace Haven's financial future is dependant upon YOU! By contributing to Grace Haven, you become an important part of this organization's goal to end
homelessness.
Ms. Billie Oliver is the Executive Director for Grace

affectionately called, has been a career volunteer
person. She has volunteered, served on boards,
and chaired for many organizations in the
community for over 40 years of her life.
After a brief illness that sidelined her, she is back
strong as ever and even more determined to make
a difference in people lives.
Ms. O continues to be the driving force for GHC and
will always have the less fortunate in mind when
